TOKYO is one of my favorite restaurants. A Japanese restaurant in the heart of Transylvania, in Cluj Napoca city center: delicious dishes, always fresh and carefully prepared, professionally served in a very cozy ambiance.
I often travel to Cluj, most of the time with my family, and despite the fact that we are always in a rush, any time we crave some sushi, we dine at this restaurant. I love sushi and am fascinated by the art of its preparation; I never lose the opportunity to taste the unusual assortments of sushi. I like TOKYO restaurant because it is a nice, quiet location, where I always feel pampered (Most of the times, thanks to my wonderful husband!). They have a very varied menu, and the ingredients are fresh and of good quality. Moreover, they surprise me every time with a small appetizer, beautifully presented, on the house.
I tried almost all types of sashimi, maki, nigiri and sushi rolls and all of it are very tasty. Still, I have a few favorites: tuna and salmon sashimi, clay nigiri, tuna maki, spicy salmon, spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura roll, roll crab roll, scalop roll and California roll. As for desserts, there are a few that are worth trying!
